Dear Livingston Rotarians,

With only a few months between now and our big fundraising event, Art on the Fly, I ask you to bring a colleague, friend or family member to our Rotary meetings.  Our club's success is due to the individual strengths and talents of our members.  The more members we have, the better we are at serving our local and global community.  Last week the Art on the Fly committee met to discuss early planning.  We are making some changes to the event this year based on feedback from participants and artists.  If you have feedback you would like to share, please email me with your ideas...or better yet, come to the next Art on the Fly committee meeting!

Remember that Picnic Shelter we ordered last year to build at G St. Park?  Well, it's been sitting at the City Utilities building, patiently waiting for the weather to clear. Now that spring is upon us, it's time to recruit volunteers to help put it together.  We will have two dates to construct the shelter-one in late April and another in mid-May in case the weather doesn't cooperate.  The city will help with getting materials to the site, and possibly assist with construction, but until we get confirmation I think it best that we line up volunteer contractors to help assemble the shelter.

I also need ideas from you for a service project this month!  Preferably not outside, since the weather can be variable, and COLD!  If you see or hear of an opportunity where 4-5 Rotarians can volunteer an hour of their time, please let me know.

Lastly, remember to visit our website for a listing of speaker assignments and Can Barn duties (www.livingstonrotaryclub.org).  Thank you for all you do!
